Steve Stern is the creator/writer of the indie comic book Zen Intergalactic Ninja, which celebrates its 37th anniversary in 2024.

He has written over 100 comic books and graphic novels, including War of the Worlds, Beowulf, Alexander Hamilton: The Graphic History, and A Christmas Carol, as well as the official comic-book adaptation of the animated classic, Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol.

Stern is also the author of Alien Hero, a collection of novellas and short stories about Zen. Among his other creations are Shygirl, Frickin’ Butt-Kickin’ Zombie Ants, and the upcoming Majestic Comics.

He lives in Los Angeles, where he is president of Storyboard Graphic Novels, the leading company that adapts screenplays into comic series and graphic novels for clients including screenwriters, producers, and directors.

Ryan Gutierrez has worked as a comic artist and writer since 2013.

After beginning his illustration career in production art for film and advertising, he went on to become a regular mainstay for Storyboard Graphic Novels, and is known most for his two creator-owned comic series- the superhero space opera, 

Wesdeacon (published by Markosia Press), and the much-anticipated horror fantasy, Blackmarrow, coming to Scout Comics in 2024. 

He lives in Catskill, New York, where he draws inspiration from distant blue mountains and his lovely fiancé.
